Maria (free) 04:42
Maria, why you gotta treat me this way? Why you gotta say one thing and do another? Maria, you grouchy little Russian lady, is there a part of you that could be shady? You put a seam allowance when there was one, now these clothes fit no one. Maria, I should have known from the start, everything you've sewn I've had to tear apart. Maria, I can't put you under the knife, you've become my friend and you're a lonely house wife. Maria, sometimes I just can't believe you, and the things you do. You put a seam allowance when there was one, now these clothes fit no one. You're a terrible sewer, should have hired a lawnmower, to do your job, anyone can do your job, and they probably will.

Hit or Miss (free) 02:29
I see you out there standing on the corner, doing your thing, holding down the streets. Chasing the dream in southern California, you talk to much and your words are cheap. Prove me wrong, show me you're a nice guy, behind the makeup and your flashy clothes. I can tell instead of practicing your guitar, you been wasting time practicing your pose. I know you want it but do you need it, do you know how to hold your own? It's hit or miss when your caught up in the action, keep it up till it takes you and it breaks you down. You look up to some sort of dillusion, spending money like it's nothing to impress some chicks. To me your life is an example of pollution, you have no taste and you're running out of tricks. Get down. I know you want it but do you need it, do you know how to hold your own? It's hit or miss when your caught up in the action, keep it up cause it all goes around. You know I want it, you know I need it, you know I know where to get it in this town. It's hit or miss when you're caught up in the action. I'll keep it up until I take it and I break it down, down, and I'll do it all over again.

about

City Of Champions Edmonton, Alberta

City of Champions is a birthday present given to Bridget Smatlan from Allan Harding. She always wanted a band so he wrote her some songs, got some musical pals (Tariq Ishida, and Owri Seeley) and taught her to play organ. Over a year and a half later they recorded the first record. What started as a joke of sorts has become a legit recording and touring band. Influenced by Obits, T-rex, Dick Dale ... more
